Estimated revenues for 2025–2026 total $507.5 billion. They comprise the following:
- Income taxes, at $348.7 billion, which include

- Corporate income tax, at $97.1 billion,
- Non-resident income tax, at $13.7 billion.
- Excise taxes/duties, at $77.5 billion, which include

- Goods and Services Tax, at $54.4 billion,
- Other taxes/duties, at $13.2 billion,
- Customs import duties, at $9.9 billion.
- Other programs, at $31.8 billion.
- EI premium revenues, at $32.2 billion.
- Enterprise Crown corporations, at $11.3 billion.
- Net foreign exchange, at $6 billion.
Estimated expenses for 2025–2026 total $585.9 billion and comprise the following:
- Transfers to other governments, at $110.8 billion, which include

- Equalization, at $26.2 billion,
- Social transfers, at $17.4 billion,
- Child care, at $7.9 billion,
- Territorial Formula Financing, at $5.5 billion,

- Public debt charges, at $55.6 billion.
- Pollution pricing proceeds returned to Canadians, at $5 billion.
- Net actuarial losses, at $5 billion.
- Transfers to persons, at $143.7 billion, which include

Since estimated budgetary expenses will be greater than revenues, a deficit of $78.3 billion is projected for 2025–2026.
